On May 31st 2024, Merewether High School played host to the first P&C Roadshow – Hunter and Central Coast edition. Aimed at engaging members of the Parent and Citizens' Federation in the Hunter-Newcastle-Central Coast region, the event had over 40 attendees, all eager to glean insights into effective community engagement and successful fundraising strategies.

The roadshow, which was free to attend, was a showcase of the spirit of collaboration and support that underpins the P&C associations. The program was curated to address the needs and challenges faced by P&C associations in 2024, with a focus on empowering members in respective associations.

Central to the event was the opportunity for attendees to connect, share experiences, and forge new partnerships. As one attendee said, "I have missed in-person events like these!"

CEO Jane Miller followed this with the results and insights with summarised results from the P&C annual survey.
